I've just updated via pacays Guide to 1.1.1.
iTunes recognizes the iphone, but wants to restore it.
Of course, i don't wanna restore it but want it to sync normally with itunes.
Is there a solution? I don't wanna restore the iphone again. So PLZ!!!!

Did you ever find a solution or you still waiting?
I have the same problem. iTunes sees my phone allows me to restore but not to sync anything to it : HELP!

ive restored a second time and jailbreaked it. After that everything was fine again.
