Default [Request] link for Iphuc guide for noobs (hopefully an updated one)

    Hello,

I need to learn how to use Iphuc.

I am on an intel macbook pro running tiger.

    I have itunes 7.4.2

I need to get at a media file on my iphone with a shattered screen.

I have no idea how to use Iphuc.

I've tried google and all of the guides seem to be old. Is there a more current guide out there?

Thank you so much for your time.

PS. Do I really need xcode and need to compile stuff? if I need to install something, is a binary already made? or do I drop the file in a location somewhere for another program?

total noob with Iphuc. sorry in advance.

Thanks for understanding. Please be gentle.

    Default

the WiFi is not working at the library and I cannot SSH on to the phone.

How does iPhuc work? what is the latest way to use the cable to access the phone directly for moving files around without SSH / Wifi.

I usually use Transmit and I am lost without it.

    Thank you for understanding.

Is there a good website that explains how it works that is not deprecated?
