Basically I purchased an iPhone on Ebay, which shipped to my country (Argentina). As the seller sent it with the AT&T Chip, I was able to ask for a refund to Apple, however, as the phone connects to no carrier with AT&T S sim I am unable to receive the access code...

Does anybody know a possible workaround or what am I doing wrong??

you could email them and tell them att screwed up your sms and you can't receive your access code. try that.

You need an at&t contract to have an at&t number in order to qualify for the refund. Just having an at@t sim does you no good whatsoever. You can of course get someone with an at&t contract to apply for the refund, but you will not be able to do it.

@Chetccox: The apple webpage accepted my phone number along with the phone's serial, but as I can't get the sim to roam over here at my country, I was not able to receive the SMS.
