Just about to get a phone from Apple Store in the U.S. What week# are they selling right now (digits 4 and 5 from the serial #)? Anyone just purchased / willing to share?

Number_41 should be right. I just purchased mine 4 days ago and it's a week 49. So I guess the stores could have phones around week 49, 50, 51.

Socal are you saying out on the west coast they still have some pre 45 phones out in the wild? If so this may have to be noted. There's a guy on howardforums who just got his week 41 from an apple store in Seattle just a few days ago as well...

If you live on the west coast and are in need of a 1.1.1 OOB iphone I must say you're in luck...out here in the midwest these things are damn near extinct at the stores...good luck trying to call around and visit store to store like I did 2 weeks ago

i bought one right now it was week 51

after much searching i just found a week 42 iphone.

the thing is.. i've been hearing about people getting early week # iphones that still come with the 4.6 bootloader. how common is this? is it something i should be afraid of?

Pretty much a crap shoot.

I've seen iPhones week 39&40 that were 1.1.2 and 4.6BL
Yet, find 1.1.1 occassionally.
