Replace iPhone
Hey
I got the "bad" must-restore / no iccid /no iemi problem.
From previous posts - i saw that if you go to Apple's Genuis Bar and play dumb they replace it for you, after trying to fix it.
I bought the phone in craigslist, and i dont have an AT&T plan - (actually i dont live in the US - i give it to a friend that goes there). The phone was unlocked. I checked in apple's site by serial number and i have warranty till oct 2009.
Except restoring to original FW which is obvious, what do i tell the apple guys if they ask for my telephone number etc...
any tips will help!

If they ask, tell your friend to lie!
Your friend should tell them that he was asked by you to check the iPhone at the Apple store, because you're on a business trip with the AT&T SIM inside a different phone
iPhone 4G, 16GB, JailBreak.
(and an old iPhone 2G with broken glass
)
Black iPod 5gen, 30GB.

what if he'll bring it without sim, saying that ever since i got the "restore needed" i was afraid it will delete all my contacts so i removed the sim.
then they can put their own sim and see?
