Just like to know any difference compare to the $399 one...Somebody said the package is white color.

Yeah, I got one of theme. The box is white and the phone itself is totally new. It comes all wrapped up in plastics (both phone and all the other stuff in the box - charger etc.). Not one single sctratch or anything. Trust me: you wouldn't tell the difference between this and a brand new one.

Bought an 8gb one myself and the only difference is the packaging since the phone looks brand new.

Same here - 4GB refurbished, white packaging but everything else 100% brand new as far as I could tell.

Are the refurbished iPhones available instore or is online exclusive?

I would have guessed as with any refurbished electronic they look as good as new. They are refurbished because customers returned them for hardware or software problem mainly. Apple will not take them if they were broken due to mishandling, etc.

bought five or six ref. iphones. (4 gigs and 8 gigs) but all are firmware 1.0 version.

are as new, can't see any difference, except white box.
