    Angry Recovery Mode

    Hi,

Followed the tutorial for jailbreaking and unlocking 1.1.2 and 1.1.3 otb, everything happens as the instruction until the end, i get the jailbreak "done" message and expect the phone to reboot a couple of times but it goes back into recovery mode!

Has anyone got any ideas on why or how to complete the process.

    Cheers.

I have tried Ziphone as instructed on iclarified but get message "ERROR: ziphone returned 5"

I have also tried the Terminal route for using Ziphone but get the following message,

    ZiPhone v2.0 by Zibri. http://zibree.blogspot.com
    Source code available at: http://www.iphone-elite.org

    Loading zibri.dat.

Any one know where I'm going wrong?!

I had the same problem when i upgrade to 1.1.3 and got the recovery mode! What i did was i restored back to 1.1.2 but this time i used Ziphone (i believe it's 1.0 as seen in iClarified). After jailbreak/activation there were still some issues - installer not downloading files, signal failure but i was able to fix them all. I haven't upgraded to 1.1.3 yet though.

Is it an OTB phone? or has it already been jailbroken/activated before you tried Ziphone? (If you did, you have to restore back to the original firmware/settings on you iPhone before trying Ziphone)
