I upgraded my 1.0.2 phone to 1.1.1 some time ago and all was fine, only thing is that Open SSH would not work properly. After uninstalling BSD-subsystem and re-installing it worked again. And now some days ago some apps take a few tries to start up. They just crash during the startup, sometimes straight back to the springboard, and sometimes to the locked state.

Anyone?

My 1.0.2 iphone crashes in SMS mode sometimes.

When I unlock the phone (as in use the slider to unlock the phone) and its in the SMS app it crashes and puts the phone in standby. Sometimes I have to do this 2-3 times before I can even use my phone!

I have no idea what this is the result of, maybe because we unlocked? or maybe because apple is catching on :p

Do you by any chance have Summerboard installed? Try disabling the "Dim background" feature. This solved 100% of all my random crashes.

just did the dim background trick... fingers crossed to see if it works... I did have summerboard installed yes.

yeah its a summerboard bug
disable (turn off) the DIM wallpaper and that will fix it
