Quick Question
I am going to buy several iPhones tomorrow, before the new firmware comes out, I will try and get them to upgrade them to 1.0.2, but what if 1.1.0 is out?
Is there a way to update the firmware but not make it to the latest one? Just update it from 1.0.0 to 1.0.2? Instead of going all the way to 1.1.0?

Yes, as far as i know the baseband firmware can be upgraded but not downgraded.
Lets say you have an 1.0 iPhone and you want the 1.0.2 .. you can do it. Not the other way around.
I dont have the link to the file or the instructions of the process since i am slightly new in that regards.
But if you buy and iPhone on this week you should be safe as most will have 1.0.2.To be completely sure ask for an older shipment.I hope someone can help you better that i do.
