[Question] unlocked 2.0.1 iPhone still unlocked after upgrade to 2.1
sorry the title should be "who unlocked my iphone*
I had an unlocked iphone @ 2.0.1 with pwnage.
Today I updated it using iTunes 8 to stock 2.1 firmware and it restarted unlocked. How is that ? I thought I have to quickpwn it after updating with itunes.

that search link is a cliche & you are no help.
I tried search before posting and saw a lot of posts about people having problems with this path
2.0.1 unlocked with pwnage -> update to 2.1 with iTunes 8 -> Use quickpwn.
I was in a similar situation but I didn't have to use quickpwn. It was unlocked right after update.

No, it doesn't. The link ("this") take you to this post: [2.1] Strange things happening - upgrade from 2.0.2 requires no pwn?
