that is absolutely true (about the IMEI part... not the phone# part). i can also state that for the iphone its probably not going to be the same...
the iphone does not act like normal phone as it does not even allow standard legit att cards from other phones. there are other methods in use here.

just a thought...maybe the SIM Cards that comes with the IPhones are a new generation of SIM's? We don't know about?
I saw a picutre of one of those SIM's that came with the IPhone.
It says 3G SIM Card on it with an AT&T logo.
3rd generation SIM Cards??
what does that mean?
