My iphone is unlocked/jailbroken and needs service because the WIFI is dead. I don't currently have a contract so i need to virginize and sign up then call apple.

Do i need bootneuter to virginize unlocked phone? If so how can I get it on w/o wifi/edge.

I understand that I can usb2iphone and install the program. However I'm unsure where to put it, where to get it, how to set permissions, and how to get it to start/show up on springboard (I just have to use it once to virginize)

Assuming i figure that out, what settings should bootneuter have to be in 'virgin' mode.

One more thing, can anyone walk me through how to officially activate the iphone on a gophone plan?

EDIT: HOLY SHIT I PUT THE IPHONE IN THE FREEZER AND THE WIFI WORKED FOR LIKE 2 MINUTES SO I HAVE SSH AND BOOTNEUTER NOW!!!!!

Now the question is, what settings should my bootneuter be in, how do i know what week, ect.
And like i just said, anybody able to walk me through steps to activating as a gophone?

Despite the thread you showed me, it didn't really answer what i wanted to know. I have a week 31 phone that i got when apple replaced my last one, would it have the 3.9 bootloader that it originally shipped with or have been updated with a 4.6?

And the 999999999, that still works right? and after I get it repaired i can cancel the service within 14 days for a refund?

When I went into bootneuter and turned off neuter and unlock (leaving all positions in off and bl in 4.6) I got the -... symbol and it wouldnt go away.

Do refurbished phones from week 31 have 4.6 bootloader normally?

Does the 999999999 trick still work?

Can I cancel the account and get all the fees refunded(by how soon)?

so you flashed ur phone with bootneuter while setting fakeblank, neuter, and unlock to off? if that's ur case then just do a DFU restore in itunes and u should be fine.
