Hey guys there's a question that has been running on my mind for quite long, and just 'till now I'm posting something about it, how come that when I receive or make a call I get the picture of my contact to fill up the entire screen instead of showing like this official screen capture I did and it shows the same way on every :iphone: video. Any ideas?

could depend on the firmware, i know that know that now a days the contact pic is shown in the background and the speak button is diffrent, anyone here still on 1.0.0, 1.0.2 or 1.0.1 have any idea what there call screens look like?

well actually I took this one from an old video but I've seen it happen on videos for the iphone 3g so I don't think it is a matter of firmware actually if you go now to the iphone's website you can see it there.

I've seen a few sites that say photos assigned to a contact with the Address Book on your Mac followed by sync will appear as a thumbnail with calling the contact or when receiving a call from the contact

& photos assigned to a contact with or from the iPhone will appear as full screen when calling the contact or when receiving a call from the contact.

But I have never tested this out myself
