    Default Question about replacement

I have a question for the amazingly smart group of ppl that this community has turned out to be.

If i was to buy an iphone from buffalo and activate it using DVD jon's method. And then i found out that the battery life actually sucks on my specific piece ( like a lot of ppls here and on howardforums have posted), would i somehow be able to take it back to ATT to get it replaced?

would they c that ive messed with it and deny me a replacement?

    thx in advance
    Bene

    1) apple will wonder why you arent getting a signal.

    2) if you want to swap for a new phone, they need to take your SIM card out and put it into another one. Imagine their surprise when there's no SIM card in yours.

    SO yes they will notice.

if you are having a battery issue, turn on airplane mode, plug it directly into the wall. let it fully charge.

I just did a replacement, they are very careful on the ones they replace since stock it limited now.
It seems they do have some limited number of phone in stock for replacements that are not for sale to the public. (smart move on Apple)

    1. I would reverse the hack on the computer and reload the default firmware.

    2. They will assume that a IMEI swap will need to be done. Looks like apple is doing this in the ATT system from the stores now.

    3. They will notice at this point that the phone was never activated with ATT, now how do you explain the you have a problem with the battery life if you never activated the phone????

If you can figure out how to get around number 3 then you might be able to pull it off.

Or you can wait for more phone to get in the store (hopefully before your 15 day return policy is up) and return it eating the restock fee from you pocket. Then turn around and buy another unopened box and hope that one works.
