They've been claiming that for a few days. I strongly suspect that those people are scam-artists trying to leach off the work being done here with a view to commercialising other people's efforts. Just a personal feeling and advice, i would never give my imei number to someone who says cracked an iphone esp that web site as it looks 100% suspicous saying video coming soon haha... video takes fricktion of time to upload if it is just to show unlocked phone but wait coming soon as it is like a summer movie...

aslo email address people are sending hope their secondary emails as i m sure the emails that are submitted are in a list of pool for mass spam...

i can only see in this forum that people are asked to try something but not asked for their imei numbers... if i m not wrong... coz once ur phone's imei is cloned to a stolen phone u may get in trouble...

"We know how to unlock the phone. Unfortunatly the commands needed gave "Permission Denied" errors. We did find a refernce to a hardware register that causes "Permission Denied" error in the bootloader, but we cannot software patch the bootloader because it is signed. The only way I see around it is JTAG, which we currently know nothing about. Or possibly in DFU mode. I think we may just be better off accessing the radio through user mode."

t think to that it would be very nice for all of us to hear where our heros are and what they are doing now! No update since July 10, and before we had a daily update.. And it was very interessting to see the issues and the good news.. I hope they are updating toonight..

That very well may be. At first, I thought that didn't make sense given that they don't use any ads and it's impossible to comment, but you'd think someone so involved with breaking the iPhone, you could read more about them than this: http://www.modmyiphone.com/forums/printthread.php?t=507
