i have new iphone 3G ver 2.2 quickpwnd.
i have aproblem with connecting to wifi netwoks ,
i can see the network in my phone and the signal bar is full but when iam trying to connect i get "Unable to connect" message.
i removed all security from my router, checked other wifi spots like mcdonalds and more...
i did resotre 10 times already...
i live in israel so i went to some phone labs and they told me mayb the board is corrupted and it will cost 200 dollars to replace it =\
if i`ll give my phone to my family in san francisco can they walk into apple store and replace it ? ( i dont have recipt)

Are you saying that you cant connect to any networks, or were you able to connect at McDonalds etc?

Are you using QuickPwn everytime, or have you tried connecting with original firmware?

Are you setting the phone up as a new phone, or restoring the previous user profile?

iam unable to connect to public hot spots,
always after i restored the phone i used quickpwn , how else can i use it?
i need to jailbreak the phone i dont have simfree phone..
every time after the quickpwn i set up anew user profile

Hey man. So I'm guessing you are using an unlocker sim? Or are you just using it like an iPod touch? Perhaps you could use an alternative method to unlock the phone. Try WinPwn, or find a mac and use pwnagetool. Its been aaaaaaages since I actually unlocked an iPhone so someone else may be able to help more with that!

winpwn supports 2.1 i got 2.2 Fw on my iphone..

What baseband version do you have (see Settings... General... About... Modem firmware)?
And how do you use it: with the standard provider, with a special SIM card, ...?

my modem firmware is 2.28
i dont have any simcard , i need to buy one coz the modem firmware...
never made acall with that phone...

Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings

Try that and see if now you can.
