    Default (Problem) TuneWiki

    Hey Guys,

i just bought an iPhone 2 days ago. It was 1.1.2 and locked. My friend updated it all to 1.1.4 and unlocked it etc. He showed me TuneWiki on his so i gave it a download after he left. Unfortunately, every song i have says sorry, no lyrics yet. I read that there was some problem before with 1.1.3 which required going in applications and setting permissions to 0777 for TuneWiki or using Terminal.. Problem is, i dont even know how to get to the Applications folder or anything else (never used iPhone before). Help please?

I got all my lyrics via iTunes and use it on the iPhone, so I cant help you on TuneWiki.

What I can tell you is how to connect to the iPhone and set permissions. Easiest way is via SFTP, can be done by Terminal session though.

    SFTP
On a Mac you need Fugu (free), Cyberduck (free), Transmit (commercial) or others. On a Windows PC you need WinSCP (free).
Your iPhone must have Wi-Fi on and be connected to the same Wi-Fi-Network as your computer is.
Open the SFTP programm of your choice. Type in (all without quotemarks) the IP number of your iPhone, user is "root", password is "alpine", path is "/", port is "22", connection type is "SFTP".
    Connect to the iPhone.
    Open the directory "Applications"
In there you see all installed apps including the one you wanna edit permissions on
As I said I dont know TuneWiki. If you would have to set permissions to 777 on this one, highlight it, choose "Information" in you SFTP programm and set the permissions.

    Hope that helps
