[Problem] [Solved] Contacts gone

i was fiddling with the terminal software
and i typed set seboolean and now all my contact numbers have dissappeared
can someone help me
do i have to restore my phone again now

Resync with itunes. Make sure you check the box in tunes to sync your contacts.

is it just the phone numbers or all the contact information?

The same happened to me last night. Only the actual display of the phone numbers is "invisible"... The e-mail information is visible. The funny thing is that although I cannot see the numbers I can still dial them. Whenever I go to introduce a new contact, I can select to introduce a phone number, I can see the number being typed, but when I save the contact the number does not stick...

I tried to resync with itunes, but just at the end it gives me an error indicating that it could not sync one of my e-mail accounts. I tried deleting the account, but similar behavior.

Any suggestions??? (other than restore...)

CEB u can atleast dial them i can't even dial them
now the only thing will be a format and restore
but it is very funny
according to me i just ran a command in VT TERMINAL : SET SEBOOLEAN
and that was it
did u do something similar

This what happen to you, it happen to me also. I have my contact names and when someone calls my it shows hi/her name, but if I go to contact it shews no number and if I call, it shows Unknown and services gos that this number don exist. And if I go to dialer I pres number i shows only one number ex 3, not for ex, (012)345 678, pleas healp I am runing 2.2 firmware.

No I did not go into terminal mode... Last thing I remember I did was to upgrade Winterboard and Caller ID Fix from cydia, Bloomberg from the app store. I have installed MCleaner that in the past has given some trouble. I'm running a 2G phone with 2.1. Regards, Charlie
