i tried to activate the iphone with a prepaid plan and the gave a number but they didn't activate the iphone till i do an initial payment, and it gives me an error in credit card ....
how could i reverse such thing...
whenever i connect to itunes it preceeds whatever proccess it was on, wich is giving me a new number (same every time)...
i think am in a big problem.....

i had a similar problem.
2 possibilities: either take out the att sim and then you'll be able to sync, or you have to call att's customer service (but this needs a lot of patience...) and tell them to sort the problem.

it means that it's still inactivted...

I'm sorry, no. there is no consistency with att, sometimes they put you through to the billing departement, to sort out the problem with the non us credit card, but sometimes they just put you on hold for like 20 minutes and them : oh, I'm so terribly sorry, but I can't do anything for you.

I ended up with using the anderson method (I own a mac) with the activation tool, super easy, just one click. okay there's no youtube for me, but that's not important for me anyway.

ok...after going this far can i still unlock it with the anderson method...because other methods don't work anymore...

Have you tried a full recovery and a new approach with the "old" methods?

sorry for the delay. for full restore try pressing the menue and the power button at the same time for like 30 seconds. a yellow triangle will appear and then you can start all over...
