[problem][maps][2.2] offline maps problem

hi

after updating to 2.2 i can't use my offline maps anymore.
it's just delete my custom file and replace with 0, when i run Maps.

\var\mobile\Library\Caches\MapTiles\
com.apple.Maps.plist
MapTiles.sqlitedb

Anyone tried to use cached maps with 2.2 ??

Ok, i just found the answer. It's TRUE, apple changed fragment size from 64x64 to 128x128.
So you need to convert maps for 2.2

You can use this converter:

klim, what a great find! thank you for posting it!

i rely on offlinemaps quite often so this is a definite must-have.

so the problem was not with offlinemaps after all but rather the GMDL tool's map generation. but everything now works perfect after converting the map files using the above desktop app. to those wondering, the site is in russian but the software itself is in english once installed.

how did you fixed the problem with this message
"output directory is already there" when i try to make the files for my iphone by clicking on -->iphone i get this message so how i can fix that please
