I need your expertise again fellow enthusiasts.


I recently (hesitantly) upgraded my customize program to 2.0 beta on my perfectly working 1.1.2 (still using hypercard). I was playing with the "wallpaper" feature on customize to get a seperate "locked" wallpaper and "normal" wall paper. As soon as I rebooted my phone, it is now locked in a constant loop. It would reboot it self displaying the little circle, then approx 5 seconds later it would do the same.

I tried to reset the phone via holding the sleep button and home button for 10 seconds (get the apple logo then reboots), but it is still stuck on the constant loop. This went on for 2 hours until the battery died. I tried to reset several times with no avail.

Has anyone had this problem before? What can I do to fix the problem sans restoring and unlocking etc... I have my phone setup exactly how I like it with seemingly no problem until now.

I'm back to using my archaic Moto RAZR until I get my beloved iphone fixed. Not to hate on the RAZR, but after having my sleek iphone, this RAZR feels like a dinosaur relic ; )


Any suggestions?

I would say ssh in to the phone and delete customize but with the phone in constant reboot you won't hold a long enough connection....

Always back up your iphone!
