Default problem with log in my school network

my school network requires to input the username and password. basically, if i try to connect to my school network though laptop, it would jump out a box ask to input username and password. however, iphone does not have such function, it only requires users to input password. the box would not jump out on screen if i connect it though iphone.
so my problem is how i can input both username and password.

As far as i know, you can't,
    it's probably a cisco network, isn't it?
well, the iphone doesn't support cisco's vpn just yet (directly) perhaps you can go around it by using the public network and log in via a webvpn?

I am not sure but have you tried after connecting to your school's network (of course with the correct WEP ) you tried opening safari and see if the pop comes up?

I don't know if that works, but what you gotta lose? =D
