[Problem]iPhone works really slow,boots really slow,and iTunes doesn't recognize
I own an 8gb iphone bought in the states and brought to EU.
Software is (was)
1.1.4. So, i found some new sources and added them into installer, to be precise i added 3 sources, and the last one was repo.codegenocide.com (don't ask why). After that, i went back to packages and istalled iPac (some 3d pac-man like game) to see how it's workin, and here's where the problems started... I ran out of batteries, so i plugged my iphone to get it charged and when i wanted to start it up, the loading screen (that shiny silver apple logo) was loading for a very long time (app. 3-4 mins), finally when i was at the main screen of iphone, i couldn't do nothing! Operator logo wasn't there (locked sim), my installer icon dissappeared, some weird pop-up helper saying "Edit Home Screen" constantly appears, and low battery pop-up also appears (even if it's plugged all the time to charge)! The best thing is i can't use touchscreen! At least i think i can't, because i can't see the difference if the iphone is reacting TURBO slow, or it just doesn't react at all!
I've tried to turn it off then turn it on again, tried to reset it by holding the wake/sleep button and the home button (it resets, but i gotta wait for that logo the same time, and when i get to the main screen, apparently it just goes through the same cycle i explained before). I've read that if you hold the sleep button and slide the red slider then hold the home button for a brief period of time, something will happen (in my case nothing happens).
The WORST part is, i can't get it to connect to ITUNES. It doesn't work on any computer i've tried in my house... I'd reinstall it all the way but i simply cannot connect it to computer...
If any1 had some kind of experience like this or maybe know the solution, or simply is willing to offer some kind of an advice, I would be very grateful to read it. I just don't want it to become useless ibrick, if you know what i mean...
GREETZ, Filip from Croatia.
