problem with iBrickr/SSH windows XP
Hi, I'm a German iPhone newbie, using windows XP, iPhone firmware 1.0.0.. I managed to activate all functions incl. youtube.
jailbreak worked with the instructions on hacktheiphone.com, but ssh installation always shows error-message: iTunesMobileDevice.dll not found
After that I tried iBrickr but unfortunately iBrickr doesn't recognize my iPhone, even after rebooting, it always shows "Please wait while we contact your iPhone. If your iPhone is not plugged in please plug in the USB cable now" (usb-cable is plugged in of course)
Now I updated to 1.0.2, youtube and jailbreak via hacktheiphone.com are still working, but same problems with ssh installation and iBrickr...
I would be grateful if anyone could please help me to get to work one method at least...
thank you

yea i've had a similar problem with ibrickr. It hangs on windows vista, i start it up and it stops responding on the contacting iphone screen, and i have to end task. Putting it into winxp sp2 compatibility mode sometimes solves the problem. Most of the time ill fire it up and it will sotp responding, then ill restart and it will work normally, then wont work again untill another pc reboot. Great app, jailbroke my iphone on it and installed a few apps, wish it wouldnt freeze up though. Anyone else have this problem ?

I got this message too at a certain stage while setting up my iphone with ibrickr. Apparently closing the ibrickr program and restarting it will make it work.
