Hi guys,

i am having a problem with my 1.1.4 iphone. I'm using Al-Jawal GSM SIM and every thing was working just perfect until i went to Kuwait when the phone use "KT-MTCNeT" Carrier and display its name at the top. but when i went back home and changed it back to my home Carrier "Al-Jawal" it got connected but still using the other carrier name "KT-MTCNeT".

i tried to reboot it, change the carrier manually and also to reset the network sittings and nothing changed.

any advice please?

Hi

Try downloading from installer the App called "make it mine"

This will allow you to change the name yourself to anything you like and also it has a revert option that mite get the right carrier name showing up again.

i tried MIM and I could change the name but when i used the revert option the problem came back again

any other advice please????? anyone?

Did you try to make custom carrier bundles for both the simcards you are using? Or if you are just using one simcard (Al-Jawal GSM SIM) just make this one.
