Okay so i brought the iphone 2g a few months ago and i unlocked everything was fine.then a few days ago i started getting problems like when playing videos or songs sometimes the sound will sound distorted and the phone would freeze during calls.so i decided to reset it,problem is i didnt notice my battery was low and during the reset my iphone died.now when i turn it on the itunes connect logo comes but when i try to go into restore mode itunes does not connect nor does my omputer read it.i plugged this phone in & out about 30 times . what should i do.should i buy a new motherboard?

EDIT: Tried the suggested solution. It doesn't work. There are any other solutions?. Thanks in advance.

Try a DFU restore to Apple firmware 2.1 then use Quickpwn to jailbreak/activate/unlock. DFU restore should do the job.

Yeah, remember that in DFU mode iPhone has black screen.

Plug it to computer, turn OFF (Home+Power), when it's OFF hold Home+Power for 10 seconds, then let go off Power button and keep holding Home until your computer tell you that it's in DFU Mode. Then just Restore it to 2.1 and use QuickPwn to unlock and Jailbreak.
