i'm having a similar, if not the same issue with BSD 2.1. i can download and start to install BSD 2.1, however during the install it kicks out to summerboard (in my case).

i tried uninstalling community sources as mentioned about without any change in status.

    regards,
    Brian

The problem can be that you are low with disk space.

Try to install bosstool in installer, and then click on "Free Disk Space" in bosstool.

If you have like 15 MB or less, relocate fonts and try to install bsd subsystem again.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought in order for BossTools to relocate your font+ringtone+app you need BSD?
Since we can't install BSD, BossTools won't work [tried that]. BTW, I didn't have any other app in the phone and the system disk is showing 54MB free space.

Yeh, I think your right, didn't think that far...

Well, then i don't know what to do. It worked for me to uninstall community sources but it doesn't seem to work woth your phones.

Mine basically downloads the file, but when it gets to the end of the progress bar it seems to keep downloading a bit further (so the white progress marker moves outside the bar). Then it just says Package Download Failed!

1.1.3 upgraded with soft unlock, then baseband upgrade, then Anysim 1.3.

However, it was also doing the same thing on a 1.1.2 OTB unlocked with a Hypersim, so I'm assuming it's a problem with the package, or the new installer.
