Default [Problem] battery half empty overnight

    hi all,
something strange has happened this morning.
my phone's battery was half empty this morning and
the current usage showed a extremely high amount although the phone was on
    Stand by all night.
I am wondering which service might have been running
which actually makes the phone think it was in use?
is there any way to check this somehow?
It just does not make any sense!
Showing standby of 13 hours and 8 and a half hours of use.
I was actually sleeping for 6 and a half.....
    thanX

If your phone is jailbroken, then check the resident processes with Sysinfo.app (get it from installer)

dropbear (ssh) , AFPd, MobileRSS are battery's gluttons

hi and thanX for you quick reply.
none of those are running, but SSHD is a running process.
i actually wanted to replace it a while ago with open ssh so i can easily
    turn on and off.
this and the smsd notifier are the only one that seem out of the ordinary.
last night though, i was playing isolitaire and I didn't click home button but instead clicked the sleep button. This morning the phone's clock rang and I shut it off.
could it be that because of not clicking home from isolitaire the phone thought it was still running?
how do I replace sshd with opwn ssh?
    thanx

Install UIctl and check if you can see a line with the word dropbear.

If yes, follow the procedure i wrote there to remove it and install OpenSSH instead (i explain the reason why in the link).

    Hi Xian,
    No Dropbear here...
org.thebends.openssh is the open ssh listed as running
    also, nl.robota.iphone.screenshot is red
should i load it using load-w command?

Anything in red means it is not running.

You can turn off openssh by doing unload -w. The -w will make it persist after reboot.

EDIT: Also some apps seem to have bugs, so if you feel your phone is being drained very fast a reboot shall fix it.

    ThanX Locked,
I did a reboot and it does seem to react well to it. Although I had rebooted this morning already and after charging full. the problem still showed up.
Regarding the open ssh, and iphone screenshot
Will services.app by cehoffman work with org.thebends.open ssh or do i need open ssh from installer and not the one used by independence?
Even though sreenshot is red. I do get the interface when launching the app.
    Is this normal?
The drainage problem is a problem but what worries me more is why did my phone think it was being used while being on stand by mode (which caused the drainage i guess)
    thanx

Do you have the game "Garf" installed by chance. version .15 has an issues where it keeps running in the background. This was killing my battery until I uninstalled it. Then all my issues went away...
