I really hope so...
We will eventually see more websites supporting Flash Lite, but with the current shift to Flash 9 at such a fast rate. I highly doubt anyone will pay attention to the small world number of iPhone owners. However there are plenty of FLASH LITE coded apps out there, so try to find some and see if the work. Who knows, eventually LUA may enable higher profile flash player same as PSP. However I note your still restricted to whatever your processor can handle. I really don't know how much iPod can handle, but it seems to be sufficient for flash games of small scale.
I don't remember the exact source, but I do remember reading this. Apple is working with Adobe to make a special Flash plugin for MobileSafari. It wasn't ready at launch, but it will be in an upcoming update.
any news for flash plugin for iphone???
