what software do u use to open .PNG files?

out of boredom im gonna start changing some icons on SB, like add the internet explorer icon for SAFARI, etc.

im in winscp and got some png files im trying to open...none of my programs are able to open these files...any recommendations?

The default file extension for Macromedia Fireworks is .png . These can be uploaded without problems. You can even keep the layers in the image (therefore you can easily edit them later - rather than flattening all the pixels).

Photoshop will do you great.
