What did I do wrong?

I Jailbroke my phone using iActivator, connected the phone to iTunes and tried to update the firmware (was 1.0.0 and tried to update to 1.0.2). And it locked my phone and forced me to restore to the old firmware and now it's back in jail.

Where did I go wrong?

Is there a way to update the firmware before Activating/Jailbreaking?

I've been reading a few places and I guess this happened to a lot of people (all of you).

I guess my questions: After this, does it mean it has Firmware 1.0.2 and I just have to jailbreak it again?

Hmmm, I'm trying to JailBreak it again using iActivator, and everything seems to work, it even says jailbreak succeed, but for some reason it goes back to jail immediately afterwards.

Any ideas, guys?
