Volume Issue

Sorry if this has been posted but I did a search and nothing that seems to work showed up.

I have an unlocked 1.1 Iphone and everything is great except for the volume for phone calls. Is there anyway to fix this?? Could this be a hardware issue??

I heard that iBrickr has afix called the wolumizer, but I have not checked it myself.
