Unresponsive Screen
Hi,
my iphone touch screen (the upper half) is unresponsive, I added a "Touch menu" under settings as written here and I would like to increase the sensitivity level but having the upper half of the screen unresponsive...
Is there a way to change this "sensitivity level" by modifying a file (from a pc) without using the phone?

I got this from the link you gave... you said its the upper half, then this should work... Could you tell me why it doesnt work ?
Thanks...

I now have the "touch menu" on the bottom of "general menu", I can enter this menu but can't change the sensitivity level because is on the upper half of the screen (I can only use the "test area").

Iphonejcd and supsi: I am trying to help you guys. Im going to post again later, with a solution or not.
eddy123: Yes, there is. After some heavy usage, some iPhone have this problem. There is a software to fix it. (The software changes the Touch Screen sensitivity)

supsi and Iphonejcd:
Here you go, download this: http://rapid$hare.com/files/76806261/Dead_Spot.rar.html
(Change $ to s)
In this folder there are 2 files. Put both of them in /Application/Preferences.app
Note: These 2 files are already in the Preferences.app folder, so you must replace it.
If it worked and you liked, push tumbs =D

Thanks element !
I was trying right now to convert the "Touch.xml" back to "Touch.plist" (I modified the default value 3.5)....but you were faster !! :)
I can now change the sensitivity level...unfortunately the screen remains unresponsive :(
Is it worth to do a restore? Would Apple replace my (virginized and restored) iPhone even if I'm not an AT&T customer ?
