uninstall dropbear

are there any problems now or in the future if i were to uninstall dropbear? i am planning on doing:

For those with dropbear loaded by au.asn.ucc.matt.dropbear:

1.) Install BSD Subsystem using Installer.

2.) install UIctl from Installer.

3.) Run UIctl (be careful with this application). Tap au.asn.ucc.matt.dropbear and choose "unload -w."

4.) Install OpenSSH with Installer.

5.) Connect to your iPhone using WinSCP, username/password of root/alpine.

6.) Using WinSCP delete the following files and folders on the iPhone:
/etc/dropbear/dropbear_rsa_host_key
/etc/dropbear/dropbear_dss_host_key
/etc/dropbear (folder)
/System/Library/LaunchDaemons/au.asn.ucc.matt.dropbear.plist
/usr/bin/dropbear

7.) Restart iPhone. Verify in UIctl that au.asn.ucc.matt.dropbear is gone, if so dropbear is not loaded (which is what we want!).

8.) You may delete UIctl if desired (using Installer).

How did you have Dropbear installed? I used iNdependence to install it and was give the option to uninstall it as well. Otherwise the above section seems like it should work. You should be able to reboot your phone after doing the unload -w command to make sure that your newly installed OpenSSH works as expected. (verify with UIctl that Dropbear is still deactived after the restart) Once you've determined you are happy with it you can go and delete the old Dropbear files

after i jailbroke 1.1.1 it was installed...

Which method did you use to Jailbreak?

BTW: TouchFree (nonAlpha) installs Dropbear. TouchFree-alpha doesn't.

great info....but can i still follow the process up on top to remove dropbear and install openssh, or will there be some problem?
