unbarring/unblocking my old iphone4

I recently lost my iphone 4 at work so reported it missing and had it barred, I received my new one yesterday and this morning my old one was handed in at work. is there a way of unblocking the old one so it can be used again? my girlfriend would like the phone if it can be done.

What you are asking to do is called fraud. Your only honest option is to contact the carrier and say that your old iPhone 4 was found and do they want it back? If they say - no - then ask them if they can unblock it. I'm pretty sure they will say no, but that is your only legitimate avenue.
