Trouble connecting Iphone to Itunes

Hi!
Wonder if anyone have had problems connecting their Iphone to itunes after activation (DVD Jon). I got the following message after second sync: "We could not complete your Itunes request the network connection timed out. Make sure your network connections are correct".

I wonder what kind of request that would be as I only wanted to see the contents of my Iphone and sync. My Ipod Nano works as usual. I have done no, to the best of my knowkedge, upgrades of Itunes since i activated the Iphone. Itunes version is 7.3.054.

Take the AT&T sim card out... I had the same problem until I took it out, now it works perfect!
