Tactil LCD Problem
Hi to all,
so today i m facing a new problem with iphone.
This is a week 28 phone so BL is 3.9.
So i have update this phone to 1.1.2 two weeks ago and unlock with anysim 1.2u with no pb.
But today my friend come an explain to me a new PB:
-the 4 icons: phone, mail, safari and ipod are not working since yesterday...
-So if you go in setting menu, you can't clik "general" without scrolling...
-And if you go in installer, featured, install, update ,uninstall and sources icons are not working...
-but if i do a sync with itunes, i CAN slide for cancel:(thats why i doubt there is an hardware pb)
So i don't know if restore the phone would be a good idea, cause i m afraid to be unable to jailbreak, because of this not working icon (i mean in phone menu for go to "contact" and add prefs://1f and www.jailbreakme.com)
any advice would be welcomed.

Unfortunately it sounds like you have a dead strip on your iPhone. I've read about this happening to a number of iPhones and in different areas of the screen. Happened to a friend of mine recently. He could still slide the slider but one row of the SMS app wasn't accessible.
Try searching this forum for "unresponsive screen" or "dead strip" etc.
