anyways this is just to inform that my phone is still working fine without any problems.:D
I'll get my tools tomorrow or day-after, so i will still try to open the rear panel once and see if it's burnt or not?

well i love everyone as long as i am not getting the NSC :p
BTW i got the NSC yesterday night after heavy wifi and phone usage but was too tired to do anything and went to sleep and in the morning the phone was fine again, has worked for the entire day without any problems.
so today i got my ipod opening tools and i opened up the rear panel,
and yes there is a black circular spot right on the inside of the apple icon, have no idea if it is burnt on all iphones or just the ones suffering from NSC,
anyways i have put insulation tape on it(ZuZ,do you think insulation tape will do instead of foam) and closed my Iphone, i am getting full signal at the moment, will use for a few days and report back.
I also took a couple of pics, but hackint0sh is not letting me upload them, it keeps giving me 'upload failed'. So I have put the pics at
http://picasaweb.google.com/nochinta/IP , there are just two pics on this web album, the first one with the red circle indicates the black area and the other pic is the one with the insulation tape i have put.
Sadly, i bent my rear panel on one side, so it remain a little projected outside from the front bezel, does not look nice, though the phone is working fine, so am a bit depressed right now :mad:

ur burned spot is much bigger than mine.. and ya i think it will work :)
as for the bent rear panel.. it really doesnt show in the pics so its ok as long as it is not on the front panel :D

So basically its a problem due to overheating and as a result we get a short circuit with the logic board,right?
I tried pressing the board as u mentioned,as a trial,but didnt seem to work.
I m still crossing my fingers its a software thing and flashing/revirginizing or something will work.
I m on a 1.1.1 with 04.01.13 firmware,unlocked and working till last night.

Where did u buy ipod tools?The shipping costs(to greece)i got from a site are 37$ for a 6$ buy..
i didnt use ipod tools coz shipping is also just tooo much to lebanon..
so i used my own tools (credit card, sim card, etc etc)

No success(although both progs mentioned that they were succesfull).
Since virginizing/changing basebands,firmwares etc doesnt seem to be the issue,i m gonna spare me the time and open it today.Hope i ll get back with good news.
