I have no concrete idea what the problem might be, but the unlock worked for a lot of people. And only some people have this sleep problem. So it is either you didn't apply the patch properly or there is something wrong with the iPhone itself.
I can try to explain. People, who have this problem, tell me - did you try to unlock your iPhone with minicom? And did you try to bbupdate your fls and eep?
And Locked, I think you unlocked your phone with anysim or unlock.pxl, am I right?
I bbupdated both fls and eep. The problem keeps the same.
I saw some people on web who have the problem in a non unlocked IPHONE,
Both apple changed their phones, but I cannot do this. I live in Brazil, and have no warranty on my Iphone.
I'm not saying, that there is a way to repair this problem. I'm just saying that it is software so there is a hope that at least new firmware update will help. I have a friend in apple's local service and I will bring my iPhone him to see. I think he'll probably say if it is hard or soft trouble and if there at least a hope to repair it in some way.
I am praying to be a software related fix! As i said before, i cannot exchange mine Iphone! If you have an answer of your friend from apple, please inform us!
Just to inform you guys, if you want to flash the baseband, The eep, and fls files from this site are corrupted.
Download from a different website.
The procedure keeps the same
Let's try to a different approach. See if it is related to a particular range of production serial number mine is:
Model : A1203
Serial #: 75730ERVWH**
So, as we all have made different forms of unlock, apparently it is not related to the unlock itself.
Any other thoughts?
It CAN NOT be a custom application issue if people RESTORE via itunes, a restore brings the iphone OS to its virgin state, NO custom applications or hacks survive through it.
Try swapping sims for starters.
edit: another interesting theory on the apple forums is that the incoming calls arrive while iphone is using EDGE to recieve mails/update stocks/whatever while in sleep mode, thus causing the calls to go to voicemail.
