I want to say END to this story!
This site is only a SCAM, please forget all this name. This site find only a free publicity.
If there's no unlock by tonight I'm gonna find me some sewing needles...
1) Removing the metal cover is extremely difficult. It will take a long time, and it will be knicked and/or scratched.
2) You will need a very powerful stationary magnifying glass to hit the traces and you will need hands of that are very very steady and precise. Not to mention that you will need to scrap off just the right amount of "cover" in order to hit the trace and not break it.
3) You will need a second person to help you. Not really a problem, but if you damage your phone (like the guys who have posted that their phones no longer turn on) it will be embarrasing that you wrecked a $600 beauty.
4) If the metal cover is knicked and scratched enough to look like it has been opened, you will lose your warrantee and your resale value.
If those aren't enough to scare you and compel you not to do it and be patient (buy a Turbo SIM or wait for the supposed software unlock), then by all means take a deep breath and go for it.
It's only stuff. It's only money. Boldly go...
THe hardware unlock IS tough, but it's easily possible without a magnifying glass, it just takes patience. And trust me, when ur on that last step touching the needles, pressing the keyboard with your toe, and it finally goes through... it brings a sense of pride that software unlocking could only dream about ;) But really, i did it, i love it, and i don't regret it at all.
:p I think I should also make a scam saying "I have a software unlock" by the end of someday.... Coz, you know, faking story can gain a lot of page views....
Hate Engadget still reporting those fake stories.
