Ringtones don't play ...

after i updated to 1.1.1 and unloked it .. everything works fine . i instal aplications ..etc , but ringtones don't work .. i tranform an mp3 into a m4a , upload it .. it apears with the other ringtones on the iphone .. but when i select it , it doesn't play .. can anyone help ?
