Alright, now that the soft unlock euphoria is starting to wane, I've got an interesting question. I've got my iPhone unlocked through the GUI method, and it is restore resistant.
However, if I want to restore my iPhone to its virgin, out-of-the-box state in case I need to bring it to Apple, what do I do then? Is there any way of completely restoring the phone? I also want to giver IPSF a try after I've already unlocked it, so I'd like to relock the phone first.
It would be helpful for a "bbupdater" like application that will force update the bb to a specific firmware version.

my guess is you could use the same tool but patch with a non-modified nor. i'm sure one exists somewhere.
ANB you don't have to worry about restoring it to its previous unlocked state when bringing it back to apple. First it's not illegal in this country (US) to unlock your phone and second there is no easy way for them to find out that it's unlocked as long as you restore your phone after your unlock.
In fact I've exchanged a hardware unlocked phone at the apple store because it was giving me problems (unrelated to the hardware unlock). They didn't even blink an eye and exchanged it no questions asked!
