Repeating Alarm / Nofitication app for SMS, email, voicemail ??

I was wondering if there was an app that could do a repeat alarm on either an unacknowledged voicemail, sms, email ...

For example, lets say you get a voice mail and are away from the phone for 5 minutes. When you come back, you would not know you missed anything without turning the phone one ... but if in lets say 5 minutes the phone wakes-up (low power level wake-up) checks to see if there is any outstanding items and plays the alarm/vibrates if there is?

For those familiar with WM devices, something like a SBP PhoneSuite or PhoneAlarm.

Does the lack of replies mean...

1} there is no such app
2} its obvious and searching could yield the answer (though i have searched)
3} its a function of the phone already and I'm just a retard. :p

I'm kinda surprised it doesn't exist since this is such a standard feature on most phones, makes me think I'm missing something??

Ahhh, recurring and not repeating, sometimes searching can be a real pain... thanks, too bad there seems to be no progress yet :(
