Question on kicking iPhone out of DFU mode after downgrade
I am new to this forum, please do not bash me for not searching i just have a question, im just asking for an answer.
I have an AT&T account so i am not interested in unlocking my iPhone for a different carrier ect.
I am trying to downgrade from iPhone Firmware 1.1.2 to iPhone Firmware 1.1.1 but I am having some problems.
I plug in my iPhone, open iTunes, Hold the Home and Lock buttons then hold Hom button to get it into DFU recovery mode, I then click ok on iTunes and then "option" click restore and click teh restore1.1.1.ipsw file, the restore goes completely through and ends with the usual error "1015", this is where im stumpted.
my iPhone is then in DFU mode with the iTunes and Cable connector screen, and my iTunes prompts me to restore again, all these guides say use iNdependence, but iNdependence is not compatible with iTunes 7.5 which I have, it also says you can use iPhuc which is a terminal program which I am not familiar with, even though im not familiar I typed in the commands and nothing happened.
So to sum it up, i can downgrade all the way to teh end but then i cant kick my iPhone out of the DFU mode.
could someone help?
