[Question] How to copy sim contacts from 2G 1.x.x FW to 2.x.x fw?

What software can I use to read the sim contact on my 2G iphone upgraded to the new 3G firmware and how do I install it?

I think you can't install 3G FW on a 2G iPhone.

what u are trying to say is "how to copy sim contacts from 2G 1.x.x FW to 2.x.x fw"

both iphone 2g and 3g have their own DIFFERENT version of 2.x.x FW

3G comes with 2.x.x where as 2g came with 1.x.x

now
to copy sim contacts upgrade to 2.x.x the 2g version and go to settings
there is an option to import sim contacts

as u can see there are 2 different versions of 2.x.x one for 2G and another for 3G
