Problems receiving incoming calls? READ
Ok, if you have neen having problems receiving calls but are able to make them well the solution lies in thr provider. It is not a apple fault. (well it wasnt for me anyway).
I have been having problems receiving incoming calls once my phone has been on for more then a minute. This problem has lasted me a month. Today i took my phone to tmobile to get my account fixed. The lady gave me a new sim card which did not work. She said she would escelate thr problem to a higher level. Later this evening i called tmobile and sat on hold for about half an hour. The rep answered and i explained to her my problem. Heres how it went.
>hello thank you for calling tmobile how can i help u?
*i would like to know if you can cancel my service because my phone cannot receive calls.
>lets take a look at your account. Can i get your name and pin?
*gives name and pin
>ok mr. ******** i see you are using the iphone. Unfortunately we dont support that device as of yet. Have you tried using your sim in a tmobile phone?
*yes i have. Is there a reason why it doesnt work? Are you blocking service to iphones in general?
>no we are not blocking service to specific phones its just that the iphone is not relased on tmobile yet so providig support for it is not available at this time.
*ok well is there any way you could just remove me from the system and readd me because the phone rings through on my friends sim card and he too has an iphone. I dont want to cancel my service considering i paid 130$ for services i couldnt even use.
>well lets see what I can do. Ok what you need to do is go to a tmobile store and tell the rep you want to close out your account but keep your number.

>yes I'm here. I have mr. ***** on the line. We want to do a special activation for his account. He has an iphone.

**ok! What do you need me to do?
>mr. ***** im gonna put you on hold so i can explain to her how to provision your account.
>ok power off your phone and turn it back on
>ok I'm gonna send a series of test calls tell me how many you get.
>ok turn off your phone and back on again.
>ok your all set anything else I can do for you?
