Problem with Hack. Now Iphone has been deactivated

Here is my issue.

I followed the directions at http://www.hacktheiphone.com/iphone_...gular_sim.html

When I got to Step 17

putfile iPhoneActivation.pem

I got an error message

I then decided to abort the hack and tried to reset my phone with Itunes.

Unfortunately the Iphone has now reverted to Pre-activation status and when I connect it to Itunes all I get is an error message saying there is a problem with activation.

Any help much appreciated!

When you say reset... do you mean you've done a restore??? Anyhow, just re-Activate it... download iActivator or similar and run through the activation process again...

I was trying to get to the Itunes tab which would allow me to clean up the Iphone and restore it back to its original state.

Will follow your advice and try iActivator
