Hi people,
Just got my new iphone, im going to unlock it, but i cant register it with itunes as its asking for a valid o2 sim, im putting a vodafone sim straight in it and it doesnt work, is there a way round this or does it need an 02 sim to register the phone first? thanks

You don't need to activate the phone with an 02 sim card but if you're say from the UK & you have the official iphone Pay&Go Sim Card you could activate officially with iTunes & then use Quickpwn to jailbreak & then as long as you haven't updated to 2.2.1 firmware yet use Yellowsn0w to unlock.
