Was watching YouTube this morning when my Wi-Fi dropped out. I haven't been able to detect a network since. I just get the little spinning symbol for a few seconds then nothing. The iPhone is hardware unlocked. I have restored in iTunes to see if that would help, but no. I have also taken apart the phone to look for a disconnected or severed cable, but also no.
Any ideas?
I've been playing around some more. Every now and again my wireless network will appear, I can connect, and then when I try to do something - such as check email or use Safari - it will disconnect.
maybee you have to try to restore your iphone
I have tried that. It seems to me like the wireless antenna is disconnected or broken, but I'm not sure how to check that or what can be done about it. It doesn't say no Wi-Fi, and every now and again it will see a network with a weak signal.
No other ideas?
