"No Service" look here

I had no service problem. This is what I did to get this working. This is assuming you’ve already successfully locked the phone. (1.0.2)
compactor's thread was great help and i may have missed something since i'm a n00b.

You need:

From http://www.freeiphoneunlock.com/guide/ (the files or on the left hand side)
1. bbupdater (click save as with no extention default is txt)
2. putty
3. ICE03.14.08_G.fls

You also need
ICE03.14.08_G.eep http://rapidshare.com/files/55123388/eepfiles.zip.html
Anysim http://www.deadbeef.cn/files/anySIM.zip
Anysim pxl http://iphone.exploit.org/pxl/anySIM-1.01.pxl

I don't have links for these 2
Binkit.6.pxl
Dropbear.49.pxl



First you restore your phone. I used itunes 7.4

Then run Apptap
Close apptop
Run Pacay
Close pacay
Run ibrickr
Install installer.pxl
Go back to applications click -> install from pxl
Install binkit, dropbear and anySim pxl
Go back to main menu
Click on files
In the fake iphone scroll down to usr, click it
Then click on bin
Back on the left hand side click upload
Upload 3 files bbupdater, ICE03.14.08_G.fls, ICE03.14.08_G.eep
Close ibrickr
Turn on wifi
Get ip
Open putty.exe
In host name put root@PUT.IP.HERE
Putty will open a new window. Looks like DOS
Password dottie
Type cd /usr/bin/
Type chmod +x bbupdater
Type launchctl unload -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist
Type bbupdater -f *.fls -e *.eep
Close putty
Reboot phone
Run the anySim app in springboard

once anySim is done turn off phone and put in new sim.

again i urge you to read compactor's thread. i just dont' understand most of it

the top left hand corner says "No Service" or is it blank? cuz mine is blank and when i put my sim in, it neither reject or accept my tmobile sim. My youtube does work btw picking up signal from my wifi....

mine says no service. not sure what nothing means. did you put in an active sim?

thats because comm center is not working,now you once u reach putty
try this first

launchctl load /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist

it should result in nothing just moving on to next prompt,if that happens
restart your phone ,see if its working if yes then you dont need to do anything else otherwise follow with patching eep and fls files.

the file is there ,just that its not being run when the phone starts as it should

my problem is that i've run iBrickr and got rid of my unlock icon. What should I do as far as making that icon reappear on the springboard? Any way I can reach you via Instant message i_max2k2?

also; what do you mean by "otherwise follow with patching eep and fls files"
